Anna Gatewood PA-C - Medical Director
Anna began providing thorough and compassionate care as a Physician Assistant in Middletown 20 years ago in Family Practice and Internal Medicine. For the past 15 years, Anna has been utilizing her expertise serving as both a Medical Director and lead PA with two successful vein centers. In addition, she has facilitated training of clinicians in vein procedures throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. She will perform initial consultations, patient evaluations and screenings. Her comprehensive vein experience will be pivotal to caring for all your varicose and spider vein concerns. She provides assistance with endovenous thermal ablation, phlebectomies and sclerotherapy.
Anna provides a wide variety of aesthetic treatments including laser hair removal, and removal of sunspots, hyperpigmentation, and facial veins. As a certified master aesthetic injector, she uses Botox, Juvederm, Vobella, Voluma and Kybella to help you achieve and maintain the aesthetic look you desire.
Michael Johnson M.D. - Vascular and Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Johnson earned his B.S and M.D. at the University of Connecticut. He graduated as Chief Resident in Diagnostic Radiology from Yale New Haven Hospital and went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Harvard affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.
He trained at the Mass Vein Care Center in Chestnut Hill, MA where he became adept at treating various manifestations of chronic venous insufficiency such as: Spider veins, Reticular veins, Varicose Veins, and Venous ulcers. He published a clinical study in a peer-reviewed journal on an advanced technique for the treatment of complex varicose veins1 and also wrote a textbook chapter on the evaluation and management of varicose veins2.
He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic, and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the American Venous Forum.
